Number Five Club SYNOPSIS

 Set in 1938, Detroit, The Number 5 Club tells the story of a Jewish teen who idolizes Tigers first baseman Hank Greenberg. His best friend is an Italian classmate whose allegiance is to Joe DiMaggio of the New York Yankees (both players wear Number 5.) If all they had to do was survive being teenagers living through the Great Depression, that would be tough enough. But Hymie learns of a deep secret in his family, one which propels him into Detroit's underworld.
